For owner-operators
Dispatch service built for one truck at a time
Keep your authority and your load choices. A dispatcher does the calling and negotiating while your portal keeps every rate confirmation, photo and status update where you can find it.
$5 per month, per member. First week free — cancel any time.
What you get
- A dispatcher who learns your lanes, equipment and home-time schedule.
- Rates negotiated before you commit — you approve every load.
- Upload BOLs and delivery photos from your phone right after unloading.
- MC and DOT numbers linked to their FMCSA SAFER snapshot on your profile.
- Community board access to connect with carriers, brokers and dispatchers.
- $5 per month, first week free, no contract to unwind if it isn't a fit.
How it works
- 1
Sign up as a driver or carrier
Add your company name if you have one, plus your MC and DOT numbers.
- 2
Submit your documents
License, medical card and insurance go through manual staff review before you take loads.
- 3
Review loads your dispatcher finds
Accept the ones that work; the rate confirmation lands in the portal with the load.
- 4
Update status as you roll
Mark pickup, transit and delivery, and drop paperwork straight onto the load.
Frequently asked questions
- Is this a good dispatch service for a single truck?
- Yes. Owner-operators run the same workflow as a fleet: one account, your own authority, and a dispatcher who books loads around the lanes and home time you want.
- What does it cost for one truck?
- Portal access is $5 per month with the first week free. There is no per-truck setup fee and no contract.
- Do I need my own MC and DOT authority?
- Yes. You add your MC and DOT numbers to your profile, and STR Dispatch links them to the FMCSA SAFER snapshot so staff can confirm the authority matches your company.
- Can I turn down a load my dispatcher finds?
- Always. Your dispatcher brings you the load and rate; nothing is booked as final until you accept it.
- How do I send paperwork after delivery?
- Upload the BOL, signed documents or delivery photos straight to the load from your phone. They stay attached to that load for you, your dispatcher and the broker's tracking link.
